CAN 2010 dignifies country’s image – UK Ambassador

ANGOP Luanda – United Kingdom’s ambassador to Angola, Pat Phillips on Thursday here said that the holding of the African Football Championship (CAN-2010) will dignify the country’s image “It is an important occasion for Angolans to show the world the country’s potential, mainly in the tourism sector”, she said. The diplomat also highlighted the fact that the British firm Support in Sports is in charge of placing the turf on the four stadiums that will host the games of the mentioned championship.

Pat Phillips wants Angola to make good results in the competition or get the trophy, in order to compensate for the efforts of the holding of the championship.
