You never know who may be watching you, and you never know who they might tell.
José Eduardo Aqualusa – now there’s a name we don’t often come across. He’s a writer and he’s from Angola, not a place that comes immediately to mind when I think of great literature, or even of great African literature. The only writer that I can call to mind that Angola produced is Agostinho Neto, but it can well be argued the other way round, that Agostinho Neto produced Angola. Anyway it’s Aqualusa that we’re thinking about here and we need to make room for him in our thoughts because he is a truly brilliant writer. Read the full article……………..
