Angola economy seen growing 9.4% in 2010

By Henrique Almeida. LUANDA (Reuters) – Oil producing Angola’s economy is seen growing 9.4 percent this year and 7.6 percent in 2011, bolstered by higher oil prices and exports, a Reuters survey of economists showed on Thursday.

The forecast by 9 economists and analysts is slightly higher than government estimates, which project growth of 8.6 percent this year on higher oil prices and moves to diversify the economy into the nation’s once booming farming sector. More……………..
