From Angop

Luanda,   –  At least ten kilometres of pavement and kerbs of Luanda’s down town were repaired in the past two months, under a provincial Government (GPL) programme aimed at improving the movement of pedestrians and the image of the country’s capital city,
Angop learnt.

The job will cover the avenues of Portugal, Valódia, Comandante Che Guevara, Major Kanhangulo, Cônego Manuel das Neves, and such areas as the Ilha do Cabo,  Kinanga, and Patrice Lumumba (Maculusso).

The works involved the installation of new traffic lights, drainage ditches, embankments for  water drainage and technical networks of drinking water and electricity.
