Carjacking on the increase in Luanda.

Luanda police are reporting an increase in the number of armed carjackings in Luanda. From July to September, 127 vehicles were stolen in this way. This is up 60 compared to the previous three months.  Hyundai Tucson and  Santa Fé, and double cabin vehicles such as the Mitsubishi L 200 appear to be targeted by the thieves. Victims tend to be women drivers and those who drive in isolated or badly lit zones of Luanda.
